COMPREHENSIVE PRIVACY NOTICE FROM THE MEXICAN GYMNASTICS FEDERATION’S GENERAL SURVEY AND SELF-ASSESSMENT: “PROTECTION OF GYMNASTS: HARASSMENT AND ABUSE IN SPORT.”

 

The organization She Wins Mexico, A.C domiciled in Anatole France 71-F, Col. Polanco, Miguel Hidalgo, C.P. 11560, Mexico City and internet portal https://www.shewinsmexico.org/es, collects your personal data and is responsible for the use, as well as protection of your personal data, in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals. In this regard, we inform you of the following: The personal data collected will be used for the following purposes:
  • Collect information on current mechanisms for prevention, care, and evaluation of healthy and harmful interactions in teaching-learning practices and competence in the Mexican Federation of Gymnastics.
  • Develop work diagnostics to implement, adapt, and/or improve interaction processes in teaching-learning methods and competence in the Mexican Federation of Gymnastics.
  • Identify areas of opportunity in teaching-learning practices and competence for the Mexican Federation of Gymnastics. 
  • Implement policies, programs, projects, and concrete actions for the prevention, care, and evaluation of interaction dynamics in the environment of sports and administrative activities aimed at maintaining healthy and safe environments for the training, development, and consolidation of sports skills of gymnasts carried out by the Mexican Gymnastics Federation, its staff, its coaches, officers, and athletes, as well as organs that make up the Mexican Gymnastics Federation.
The personal data that will be used will be collected through an electronic form, whose login link will be sent to the respondents through the email address shewinsmx@gmail.com. Likewise, participants will be invited to participate via the social networks of the Mexican Gymnastics Federation (FB: @fmgimnasia.org.mx and IG: @fedmex_gimnasia), She Wins Mexico (FB: She Wins Mexico and IG: @SheWinsMx) and Dale Vuelta (IG: @leDaVueltaMX). What personal data will we use for these purposes? To carry out the purposes described in this privacy notice, we will use the following personal data:
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Disability
  • Place of Residence
  • Modality you practice
From its collection, personal data will be subjected to a dissociation process, implying that the information obtained cannot be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person. Exercise of rights ARCO (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition to the use of your personal data), limitation of the use and disclosure of personal information, and revocation of consent. You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for, and the conditions of use we give them (Access). It is also your right to request the correction of your personal information in case it is out of date, inaccurate, or incomplete (rectification); that we remove it from our records or databases when we consider that it is not being used properly (Cancellation); as well as opposing the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition you can submit your request to shewinsmx@gmail.com by submitting the following information:

The request must contain the name of the person holding the personal data in question, detail the personal data or data on which the exercise of ARCO rights is desired, the description of the action to be taken on them (access, rectification, cancellation or opposition), reasons for submitting the request, as well as address, telephone number and e-mail for contact purposes.
In the case of requests for rectification of personal data, the person who holds the personal data in question must indicate, in addition to what is stated in the previous paragraph, the modifications to be made and provide the documentation supporting their request.
  1. Legible copy of a valid official identification with a photograph of the holder, among the following:
  • Credential to vote.
  • Passport.
  • Professional card.
  • National Military Service Primer released.
  • Certificate of Mexican Nationality.
  • Citizen Identity Card (for foreigners).
If the application is submitted by a legal representative, a copy of the current official identification must also be enclosed with a photograph of the representative and a simple power of attorney. The reply to your request shall be communicated to you by e-mail not later than 20 working days from the date on which the request was received, so that, if applicable, makes it effective within 15 working days of the communication of the reply. Personal data for which access is requested may be reproduced by physical and digital means. Likewise, you can limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, as well as revoke the consent that you have given us for the treatment of your personal data. However, it is important to note that not in all cases we will be able to comply with your request or terminate the use immediately since it is possible that due to some legal obligation, we are required to continue processing your personal data.
